Just to clarify Please don’t thank vets, on memorial day, we are still alive Serving forces also had their own day Memorial Day is for all those who offered EVERYTHING they had, for the rest of us One way to really say thanks, is with your time • Visit a memorial • Help place flags at a cemetery • Talk with the next generations about those who have given ALL in uniform Holidays, parades, medals, ceremonies are therapy for our whole community These give us time to stop, remember, appreciate and understand where we really are … and how we got here You CAN thank a vet WITHOUT writing it on a U. S. Flag Give that a try
